About

History

Built in 1960, the Ste. Therese school was taught by nuns and held grades four, five, and six.  It was named by Theresa Doucette at a meeting in the old school of St. Mary’s.  In the late nineties, the Ste. Therese school was closed.

Community baseball players decided to make use of the building for recreation.  They got grants and held fund raisers to fix the deteriorating school building.  Since then there have been many recreational and community orientated events and support.
